Early IQ Education, LITERACY & MATH is the most effective reading and early mathematics program. It is now online, with your favorite teacher!
Early IQ Education
Is designed for Preschool and Elementary School age students (2yrs to 12yrs) to build early literacy and mathematical skills at a very young age, and provide age appropriate support to grade level students in order to excel.
Early IQ Education builds confidence in the critical thinking and develops executive skills needed to succeed in cognitive measures accepted by private schools and gifted and talented programs in Virginia, DC, and Maryland such as:
*The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT)
*The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V)
*The Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-IV).
Through the newest methods and teaching aids available, we focus on phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing. We believe that childhood literacy hugely promotes success in all other academic areas. With specialists in the area of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, we confidently stand behind the quality and results of Early IQ Education.
EARLY IQ EDUCATION, Language Arts
Students build foundational and advanced reading and writing skills with individually tailored, progression-based program will the use of most age appropriate and the most advanced teaching aids.
Based on individual skills and age, the youngest students develop basic reading skills in a quick and manner:
* Stage One of EARLY IQ EDUCATION, English Language includes the development of phonetic recognition, sight words, basic reading with comprehension and expansion of capacity for written and oral language. Basic language arts helps students acquire rudimentary language skills through language structure, reading, and writing.
* Stage Two of EARLY IQ EDUCATION, English Language: Students develop fundamental reading skills through explicit instruction, targeted practice, and oral reading focusing on fluency.
* Stage Three of EARLY IQ EDUCATION, English Language: The individualized nature of the program allows students to begin at a point where they are able to work independently and advance to more challenging material with confidence.
EARLY IQ EDUCATION, Math Skills
Critical Thinking Math enables students to develop depth perception, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, and covers the following study areas: Patterns and Relationships, Geometry, Measurement, Problem Solving, and Reasoning.
Classroom is set up for students to work using instructional material and manipulative material. This differentiated learning environment allows students to engage in problem solving, collaboration, and discussion around mathematical concepts.
Differentiated instruction is a teaching practice that ensures all students are actively engaged in the learning process. Differentiated instruction requires teachers to be flexible in their teaching approach.
*Stage One of EARLY IQ EDUCATION, Math Skills:
Exploring math has never been easier and more fun! EARLY IQ EDUCATION Math offers visual and kinetic representation of math concepts that develop strong math knowledge like; representing and comparing numbers, counting in consecutive increasing and decreasing order, skip counting, describing shapes and space. Every lesson is a games or activity that foster curiosity, discussion and growth through cooperation, collaboration and creative, critical and executive thinking:
*Stage Two of EARLY IQ EDUCATION, Math Skills:
Each individual lesson offers visual and kinetic representation of math concepts that develop strong math knowledge like; developing understanding of addition and subtraction, expanding understanding of place value with groupings in tens and ones, developing understanding of linear measurement and expanding understanding of attributes of shapes and objects.
Each individual lesson offers visual and kinetic representation of math concepts that develop strong math knowledge like; expanding understanding of base-ten, building fluency with addition and subtraction, using standard units of measurement, describing and analyzing shapes.
*Stage Three of EARLY IQ EDUCATION, Math Skills:
Each individual lesson offers visual and kinetic representation of math concepts that develop strong math knowledge like; developing understanding and fluency of multiplication and division with in 100. Developing an understanding of fraction especially unit fractions. Evolving understanding of the structure of rectangular arrays and area.
*Stage Four of EARLY IQ EDUCATION, Math Skills:
developing understanding and fluency of multi-digit multiplication and developing an understanding of dividing to find quotients. Evolving understanding of fraction equivalence, adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators and understanding geometric classifications.
